Fonte Dam - Guam Boonie Stomp

Tucked in the ravine of the Fonte River just south of the former Guam High School building is the of Fonte Dam. The unique spillway is constructed of red bricks probably imported to Guam. The dam was constructed in 1910 under President Taft to supply water to Haganta as noted by the marker on the face of the dam.

We stomped to Fonte Dam, it was so beautiful and relaxing. Bella and Patrick did awesome and the dogs hung in there like champions. This is beginning of many boonie stomps for us! Can not wait for what is to come ahead.
